Sarah Buhl Bohme series book 2

It has been some time since I last updated. I have been busy writing the next book in the Bohme series. I am very excited to bring this book to everyone. It definitely has a different overall feel to it than Penance as the characters in this book  have not been burdened with as difficult of a past as those in Penance.

The title of the next is Dissonance and I am very anxious to share. This story will center on Blake and a new character that will be introduced.  We will see many old faces in this story as well and I believe you will be excited to hear the happenings of the members of the Bohme. This world is ever expanding and I look forward to where the characters will be taking me in my writing journey.

In life news, I am ready for summer to be over. Yes, I said it. I hate summer. I am more of a spring and fall person myself. I guess you can say I don’t prefer the extremes.  Living in Illinois the humidity is atrocious, and I long for the days that leaves begin to change.

I am also looking for those days because at that point I anticipate having Dissonance published and plan to move onto other endeavors. I have this folder of ideas that I like to add to at times. Some times it is dreams and some times it is daydreams that inspire my ideas. There are two particulars that I need to complete. One I have yet to start and the other is the dystopian novel that I began working on shortly after I started Penance. Then I am sure as I am working on those, ideas for the next Bohme book will come to me. It all depends on where my muse takes me.

What I am reading… Drums of Autumn, Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Golden Bough. I did just finish Flat Out Celeste in the wee hours of the morning and I have to say it was the third book in the Flat Out Love series by Jessica Park and I absolutely loved it. I look forward to reading more of her work. She is an intelligent author and the realism she brings to her characters is astounding.

What I am playing… NOTHING. I have no time to play video games. I have to confess–I am hoping to get Dissonance out by early October for the mere fact that Dragon Age: Inquisition is released on October 7. I would love to release Dissonance on the same day so I can take two weeks from writing to just play.  I say that, but I don’t think I could do it. I would go nuts without writing for that long. 🙂
